Brock’s Blessings is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children suffering from childhood cancer, their families, and their caregivers.
Brock’s Blessings, established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in August 2019, is rooted in gratitude and compassion. Named in honor of Brock Gumm, who bravely battled Osteosarcoma from the age of six, our mission is to pay forward the kindness and support bestowed upon Brock by his community during his courageous fight.
Brock’s journey inspired us to embrace his legacy of love and selflessness. Despite facing tremendous challenges, Brock’s heart of gold shone brightly as he found joy in helping others. In his memory, we are committed to giving back to his beloved community and supporting children and families navigating the same difficult path he once walked.
Brock’s unwavering faith was a source of strength for him, and he often said, ‘God’s got this!’ This mantra of resilience and trust in God continues to guide us as we carry forth his legacy.

You are not alone. During this exceptionally challenging period, many families lack the financial resources to provide assistance, and that’s where we come in. Our organization is dedicated to providing aid and support to children and their families who are facing the hardships of childhood cancer.
Our mission is clear: to help alleviate the financial burden of treatment and travel expenses and to offer relief during these demanding circumstances. Additionally, we strive to connect families with resources they may need to be made aware of, ensuring they can access the support and assistance they need.

About Us
Brock’s Blessings was founded in August 2019 with a heartfelt mission: to give back to the community that rallied around Brock Gumm during his battle with Osteosarcoma. Brock, diagnosed with this rare bone cancer at the tender age of six, fought valiantly for three and a half years before gaining his angel wings on January 23, 2018.
Brock underwent weekly treatments with doctors in Dallas, Houston, and Cleveland, Ohio, throughout his journey. His treatment regimen included chemotherapy, immunotherapy, holistic therapy, and various supplements, with only chemotherapy covered by insurance. As a result, the family faced the overwhelming financial burden of covering travel, lodging, and food expenses.
Brock’s Blessings was born from this experience, with Paige Gumm, Brock’s mother, leading the charge. Inspired by Brock’s resilience and the outpouring of support from the community, Paige sought to create an organization dedicated to supporting families facing similar challenges. Today, Brock’s Blessings is committed to aiding and supporting children and their families battling childhood cancer, honoring Brock’s legacy of strength and compassion.
